Introduction
The Farrer School Foundation Inc was formed in 2018 for the purpose of promoting education at FMAHS through advancing opportunities for curricular and extra curricular activities at the school. The Foundation will work with the school, the Farrer Old Boys and the Farrer PT&F to improve facilities and offer scholarships and bursaries at FMAHS.
The Farrer School Foundation Inc. is registered under the Associations Incorporations Act (NSW) 2009.

The Farrer Old Boys are keen supporters of the Farrer School Foundation and encourage all members to join https://farrerschoolfoundation.org.au/membership.aspx and support it. You can join as an active or passive member.
Old Boys are also invited to Donate https://farrerschoolfoundation.org.au/donate-now.aspx to the Foundation themselves and to encourage others to do so as well. Donations can be made to either to one of the tax-deductible funds or to contribute toward operational costs.
It is through the ongoing support of former students such as members of the Old Boys that Farrer can continue to thrive and offer the quality educational and boarding experience Old Boys themselves have enjoyed in the past.
Dear Farrer Old Boys,
My name is Jim Levy and I am making contact regarding the Farrer School Foundation.
In a previous life I taught at Farrer for 16 years from 1997 to 2013. I was the Deputy Principal at Farrer for 10 years and on the Farrer School Council for over 20 years. I am currently the President of the Foundation.
The Farrer School Foundation committee have worked through the Farrer School Council to establish the Foundation for a number of years. We are finally there.
The Farrer School Foundation has two main aims in supporting the school:
- ● to develop a scholarship program to support boys who are keen to come to Farrer but may have limited resources,
- ● to develop a building fund to support the school in delivering better educational opportunities. Our long term aim is to build a hall that can hold the school and its community.
We are looking to the Old Boys to become members of the Foundation to support the running of the organisation. Life membership is $110. You can opt to be an active member or a silent member.
The Foundation has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. You may be in a position to make a tax deductible donation or you could consider the Foundation in your will. If you would like to discuss your options please contact me.
100% of all donations go to the Scholarship and Building programs. None of your donations will be spent on administration or marketing.
